How is my Learning Path personalized?
When you create your ELSA account, you’ll be guided through a few quick questions to help personalize your Learning Path. These questions are designed to tailor your learning experience based on:
- Your English level (CEFR A1 to C): This determines the difficulty level of your lessons.
- Your reason for learning and personal interests: Your answers help shape the topics you’ll see in your lessons.
- Your focus areas (e.g., pronunciation, grammar, conversation): This helps prioritize the type of practice you receive.
This process ensures that your Learning Path is aligned with your goals and preferences right from the start.

Common questions:
Q: Is there an assessment test?
No, we do not have an assessment test. Instead, we have a self-declaration process for selecting your level. Based on the level you select when creating your account, ELSA generates a personalized learning path tailored to match your selected level.
Q: Can I change my learning path level and hobbies?
A: It is not possible to modify any of these options after you have finished answering the questions and generated the learning path. If you would like to change your learning path (change levels, hobbies, or learning goals), you can only create a new ELSA account to pick the new answers to have a new learning path.
Q: I want to create a new account to pick the answers for my learning path gain. But I have a subscription on the current account, is it possible to transfer it to the new account?
Yes, it is possible to transfer the subscription to a new account, please see the instruction below depending on where you initially purchased the subscription.
- Subscription from Apple: Create a new account and restore the purchase on the new account. The subscription will be transferred to the new account.

- Subscriptions from Google or ELSA website (elsaspeak.com), or from voucher codes: Please contact us at [email protected] for subscription transferring. We will issue a voucher code of the subscription for you to activate on the new account. The old account will be deleted.
