Dictionary feature – usage and limits?
As of now, you can check the pronunciation using the ELSA dictionary for a short paragraph of about 300 characters at a time. ELSA will guide you on how to pronounce the word(s), and provide the IPA transcriptions, and meaning (based on the Mother Tongue in your app settings). Please be reminded that searching beyond the character limit will result in the search being cut off.
Follow the steps below to find this feature:
- Open the app and choose Discover (the third tab on the main menu at the bottom of the screen)
- Click Dictionary
- You can type, speak or scan an image with text to find the pronunciation
