Hanoi University of Science and Technology, or HUST, is one of Vietnam's leading institutions in engineering, technology, and applied sciences. As the university advances its internationalization journey, it is working to strengthen English communication among faculty and staff. HUST used ELSA Business to launch an AI-powered learning program that could scale across the organization, fit busy academic schedules, and deliver measurable progress.

The Challenge

HUST needed to build stronger English communication skills across faculty and staff to support its internationalization goals. The university wanted to expand English-taught programs, deepen international collaboration, and reduce communication barriers. The Solution

HUST implemented ELSA Business as a structured AI-powered English learning program for 180 staff members. The Results

83.3% of learners rated the program as quite effective or higher. Survey results also suggest that around 75 to 80% of participants felt more confident and fluent in English communication. These gains help HUST improve readiness for English-medium delivery, support stronger international collaboration, and reduce dependence on translation support.
